Day 1 : Delhi Arrival
On your arrival at Delhi, you will be warmly welcomed by our Rajasthan Tours representative. You will be transferred to hotel of your choice and in route you may take pleasure of your first sightseeing of Delhi. Relax and stay overnight at the hotel in Delhi with enjoying the Indian cuisine dinner. Stay overnight in Delhi.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing
After sunshiny reakfast take sightseeing tour of historic monument Red Fort- built in red marvel stone, Jama Masjid- the biggest mosque in India, Chandani chowk- a foremost shopping hub, you can also explore the market and enjoy the Rickshaw ride. Then move towards drive through Rajpath and its two famous monuments- the India Gate - the war memorial built in honor of brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice during World War I and the Afghan War and Rashtrapati Bhawan - once the home of British delegates and now the official residence of President of India. Rajghat - burial site of Mahatma Gandhi. Lotus temple- known as Bhai’s house of worship and then Humanyun’s tomb- world heritage site, Qutab Minar – the world famous Heritage site, tower built in 1192 By Qutub-ud-din Aibak, it is symbol of Victory. In the evening you may have chance to visit light and sound show in Red Fort. Return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 3 : Delhi to Agra (205 KMs: 4 hrs)
After healthy breakfast drive to Agra, En routes Sikandra to witness of Tomb of Mughal Emperor, then proceed to Agra. On arrival transfer to hotel. After relax visit one of the loveliest building in the world and also World Heritage site Taj Mahal. Later visit Agra Fort- which also World Heritage site. Wander around the palaces built by successive emperors famous amongst which are Jahangiri Mahal, Khass Mahal, Diwan-I-Khass, Diwan-I-Am, Machchhi Bhawan and Moti Masjid etc. that represents the excellence of Mughal architecture. Later move toward mini Taj is called Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daula built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father. In evening explore the colorful market of Agra to buy carpets, Handicraft, Textiles etc. Overnight at hotel.
Note: Taj Mahal is closed on every Friday.
Day 4 : Agra to Jaipur (240 kms: 5 hrs)
Early in the morning, you will be the witness of most memorable view of Taj Mahal at the time of sunrise. After leisurely lunch drive to Jaipur en routes visit Fatehpur Sikri - 37 km away from Agra on the way to Jaipur, which briefly served as capital of Emperor Akbar. Buland Darwaza- which Emperor Akbar built to commemorate his victory on Gujarat is very imposing. in evening visit Birla Temple- pioneer white marvel temple sparkle in the night. On arrival transfer to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5 : JAIPUR
At 5th day of Golden Triangle with Pushkar Travel, after sunshiny breakfast you can explore the Pink City with an outing to Amber fort. In Amber fort enjoy elephant ride on the top of hill or fort. Later explore the pink city and visit Central Museum, Jantar Mantar - is a collection of architectural astronomical instruments, Hawa Mahal or Palace of Winds en route visit City Palace - official residence of the present royal family palace covers a large area divided into a series of courtyards, gardens and building and this Palace is delightful blend of Mughal and traditional Rajasthani architecture. Later afternoon visit colorful market of Jaipur, Textiles, Gems, Carpets and Handicraft etc. in the evening you can visit Birla temple pioneer white marvel temple sparkle in the night. Note: You could take dinner at Chokhi Dhani- a 5-star resort designed as an ethnic village. It serves both Rajasthani cuisine and Rajasthani Continental and offers a diversity of entertainment like, live music, folk dances, astrology, puppet shows and games.
Day 6 : Jaipur to Pushkar (Via Ajmer)
After healthy breakfast drive to Pushkar. Visit the temple of Lord Brahma surrounded by Pushkar Lake. On the banks of the lake you will see devotees taking dip into the holy waters of Pushkar & offering prayers. Also visit the Pushkar Fair Site. In the noon, visit Ajmer Khwaja Dargah in Ajmer (11 kms) - the most famous and sacred pilgrimage site in India. It is where the Dargah or the holy tomb of the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moin-uddin-Chisti who came from Persia in 1192 and devoted his life to the upliftment of the poor in Ajmer. In evening drive back to Pushkar for overnight stay.
Day 7 : Pushkar to Udaipur (275 kms: 6 hrs)
After healthy breakfast, drive to Udaipur en route visit to the magnificent Chittourgarh Fort- spread over 13 sq. kms, you can travel around this fort by the vehicle you are traveling, Chittourgarh fort is the mightiest Fort in Indian History, The pride and glory of Rajasthan. A ruined fortress, where the royal past lives in its imposing forts, graceful palaces and spectacular 'chhatris'in the fort vicinity visit Kirti Stambha, Rana-Kumbha Palace, Padmini Palace, Meera Temple and Kumbha Shyam Temple and Kalika Mata Temple , State Archaeological Museum. Later continue drive to Udaipur. In the evening you can enjoy boat ride at Lake Pichola. Overnight stay at Udaipur.
Day 8 : Udaipur
After leisurely breakfast take a sightseeing tour of Udaipur, start from City Palace built in 1559, a small palace over looking at the Lake Pichola, the additions were made to it by successive Kings of Udaipur gradually evolved become the larges place in Rajasthan, Main attraction of Place are Durbar Hall, Crystal Gallery, Palace Museum and Jagdish Temple. Later continue visit Saheli Ki Bari, that is a small ornamental garden built in the honour of Royal Ladies for leisure purpose and visit Lok Kala Mandal collection of folk art items like folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls folk musical instruments, folk deities and paintings. Opened seven days a week, puppet shows and folk dancing are conducted every evening from 1800 to 1900 in an adjacent open air theatre. Shilpgram to see the village arts & crafts. Followed by visit to Eklingji & Nagda Temples - built in white marble with a double storied veranda on the bank of Lake Bageela - 22 kms from Udaipur. Overnight relax at the hotel.
Day 9 : Udaipur to Jodhpur (276 kms: 6 hrs)
After sunshiny breakfast, drive to Jodhpur En route visit the Jain temples at Ranakpur Temples of 12 Century – The cluster of temples, made of intricately sculpted white marble, built out of marbles with 108 carved pillars each carved differently from others, Come across as a marvelous piece of architecture. One can have lunch at Maharani Bagh Hotel in Ranakpur and visit to local families on the way. After visit continue move down to Jodhpur, on arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening you may opt to visit On the Rocks a garden restaurant serving ethnic food followed by live music and folk dance, located at Ajit Bhawan. Later return back to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10 : Jodhpur to Jaisalmer (290 kms: 6 hrs)
After leisurely breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Jaisalmer, en route visit to Osian village, wreck of the ancient city called Osian, an oasis in the desert, a drive to this ancient township takes one past undulating territory, punctuated by desert stretches and little hamlets. Osian has 15 magnificently sculpted Jain and Brahmanical temples. Of these, the most outstanding ones are the earlier Surya or Sun Temple and the later Kali temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the main temple dedicated to Lord Mahavira. After visit continue to Jaisalmer, on arrival transfer to the hotel. In the evening you can visit Gadisar Lake in the main city or the local market to acclimatize with the city atmosphere. Overnight relax in hotel.
Day 11 : Jaisalmer
After sunshiny breakfast, take a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer, they widely known as Golden city Of Rajasthan. Jaisalmer fort – built on the main tip of the Tricuta hill, consisting of 99 bastions. Outstanding features are Salim Singh –Ki – Haveli & Patwon Ki Haveli, Durbar & various temple- some of the most stunning mansions with the stone carving and latticework of breath taking intricacy. Later after lunch drive to Sam Sand dunes – 45 kms en route visit the ancient temple of Lodurwa, Amar Sagar and Mool Sagar complex, built in 1815. The complex also houses a summer palace where some beautiful paintings and pictures are displayed. On arrival at Sam sand dunes and transfer on camel and enjoy camel safari to discover the various sights and sound, the ruins and the temples in and around the Jaisalmer in an authentic and leisurely fashion entertainment by folk performers. After safari drive back to Jaisalmer for overnight stay.
Day 12 : JAISALMER to BIKANER (330 kms: 7 hrs)
After leisurely breakfast, drive to Bikaner. En route visit to the massive Fort Pokharan- the town Pokharan came to the public eye when several nuclear tests were conducted here during the 1970's and the 1990's. Pokharan Fort is built in 1532-1584 the yellow sandstone Pokharan fort, though not as grand a fort as some of the others in Rajasthan has a few beautiful palaces like the Mangal Niwas, the Rani Mahal and the Phool Niwas or the Flower Palace, visit to Pokharan Museum: housed inside the fort’s building. After visit continue to drive to Bikaner, on arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening is only free for leisure.
Day 13 : BIKANER to MANDAWA (185 kms: 4 hrs)
After early breakfast take a sight seeing tour of Bikaner covering Junagadh Fort - built by Raja Rai Singh, fort has a 986 meter long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances and this is the only one built in on the desert plains. Within the fortress lie profligately decorated palaces. Amongst the well-known ones are Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal, and Badal Mahal. After lunch drive to Mandawa, a pleasure trip tour off beat (20 kms) to Deshnok to see the Temple of Karni Mata - at this rats temple are held sacred & roam freely within the temple complex. Spotting a white rat in this temple is believed to by lucky. Later continue move down to drive to Mandawa, on arrival transfer to the desert resort. In the evening, you can enjoy the Gala Dinner with special program of music and dance by local artists, participate in the dance and feel the life of the people and their hospitality. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 14 : Day: Mandawa - Delhi (275 kms: 5 hrs)
After breakfasts, travel around the medieval Fort of Mandawa (Shekhawati) gradually rises on the horizon like a optical illusion. Mandawa is widely known as the 'open-air art gallery' of Rajasthan. An out of this world view of the town can be seen from the terrace of Castle Mandawa. Precious collection of arms with jade handles, traditional ceremonial costumes can be seen at the Museum at the Castle, visits to Havelies in Mandawa particularly the Chokhani Saraf & Ladia Havelies. The Castle, now a 51 room’s hotel has no two rooms alike. It also houses an interesting compilation of paintings, jade, costumes and antiques. After visit, move down to Delhi on arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay the hotel.
Day 15 : DELHI-Hometown (By Air)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the International airport to board the schedule flight for your hometown. On departure you must have some sweet memories of popular tour of Rajasthan and India.
