Day 1 : Mumbai Arrival
On arrival our company representative meet and assist you and transfer to hotel by private air-condition car. Now you’re welcome to India for Extensive South India Tour . Overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 : Mumbai
Today enjoy Mumbai tour after breakfast take a sightseeing of Mumbai and drive to Gateway of India. You will enjoy cruise by motorboat to Elephanta Caves- This is world Heritage site in 1987, located at Elephanta Islands in Mumbai harbor some of the finest rock cut of India. The most famous temple of Trimurti or triple headed Lord Shiva on the Elephanta Island. There are seven caves spread on two hills, five on the Western hill. Later return to Gateway of India and after lunch visit Prince of wales Museum, Kamla Nehru Park, Marine drive, Juhu beach area and Jain Temple. In evening enjoy with shopping and over night in hotel.
Day 3 : Mumbai – Bangalore (By Air)
After breakfast drive to airport to board the scheduled flight to Bangalore. On arrival transfer to hotel. In evening visit colorful market of Bangalore and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Bangalore
After breakfast take a sightseeing of Bangalore -fifth largest and the fastest growing city in Asia. Visit Lal Bagh – One of the many gardens in the city, its designed with lawns, lotus pools fountains, flower bed and a floral clock. During the season of Red Roses which are in bloom here, Cubbon Park –A Garden laid out in 1864 by Sir mark Cubbon, lawns with vibrant flower beds, flowering trees and shady flower. Later visit of Temple of Bangalore- The Bull Temple, which is 6.10 meters high long and 4.57 meters high. Sri Gavi Gangadhreshwara Temple- one of the oldest temple in Bangalore, dedicated to Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi is inside a natural cave in Gavipuram. In evening visit Ulsoor lake and Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Bangalore – Mysore (140 kms 3 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Mysore. En routes visit Srirangapatnam which is 17 kms from Mysore, was founded in 894 AD by chieftain Thirumalain, it has great religious and cultural historic palace and visit Sri Ranganathaswami Temple. After sightseeing continue drive to Mysore. On arrival transfer to hotel and after relaxation visit Mysore Zoo. In evening visit Arts and Crafts Centre later return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 6 : Mysore – Ooty (160 km 5 hrs)
After breakfast visit the Maharaja Palace or Mysore Palace rebuilt in 1912, the original palace made from wood, burnt down in 1897. The front portion of the palace is open and surrounded by a large garden. The architecture of the palace mix together the Hindu, Muslim, Rajput and Gothic styles of architecture. Later drive to Ooty en routes visit Bandipur National park and Mudumalai Sanctuary. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure and overnight at hotel.
Day 7 : Ooty
After breakfast take sightseeing of Ooty. Ooty- is also known as the queen of hill stations. After relaxation visit Botanical Gardens , Doddabetta and Tea plantation. Visit Blue hills of Nilgiri, you can enjoy entire area of hills and see the hill slopes, greenery and wild flowers, one of the most interesting things to hear the silence of the mountains broken only by the calls of birds, visit sparkling waterfalls, gurgling brooks and lush green tea garden. Later visit Ooty lake is a must, besides these, there are various viewpoints like Kodanadu, Lamb’s rock, Doddabetta peak . Return to hotel for overnight .
Day 8 : Ooty – Cochin (310 km 7-8 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Cochin. On arrival transfer to hotel. Rest of evening free for rest and own activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9 : Cochin
After breakfast take sightseeing of Cochin, one of the India’s most fast paced and modern cities in India or other way you can say paradise. Visit to Fort Cochin and St. Frances Church to visit see the town of Vasco da Gama. Bolgatty Palace is located on the Bolghatty Islands built by the Dutch during the pre British time. Later move towards Chinese Fishing Nets at fort Cochin, its very popular tourist attraction, which are used for a very unique and unusual method of finish. In evening the Kathakali dance, India’s most famous Classic dance. Lavish costumes & exotic make up and Masks intensify the beauty of dancers. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Cochin – Kumarakom (65 km 1 ½ hrs)
After breakfast drive to enchanting backwater destination of Kumarakom. Kumarakom situated bank of the Vembanad Lake in Kerala. On arrival transfer to resort. After relax visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary : Its spread across 14 acres is any ornithologist’s paradise to see bird viewing where numerous species of bird s, Brahminy kites, Marsh Harries, Darters, Bitterfns, Teal and several varieties of Herons root are found. Return to resort and enjoy with beautiful nature. In evening do not miss out local wine and favourite fresh water food Karimeen fresh toddy . Overnight in resort.
Day 11 : Kumarakom – Alleppey (Backwaters tours through Houseboat)
Today morning being Backwater tours through Houseboat. After breakfast drive to Alleppey, on arrival embark at houseboat. Feel free to take experience on houseboat during this trip , have great fun and lots of enjoy with water and nature, you can say unforgettable trip to India. House boating can be the most relaxing experience for tourist. The boats offer one or two cabins with small sitting room and crew of well known staff and chef. The food is authentic Kerala cuisine. The boat is poled , sailing only between dawn and dusk. The flocks of duck swimming around the banks and tiny birds flying across the sky and evening en/joy fishing from the houseboat, moving towards Alleppey . Dinner on houseboat and overnight at the houseboat.
Day 12 : Alleppey – Munnar (185 km 4 hrs)
After breakfast, disembark from the houseboat and drive to Munnar. On arrival transfer to the hotel. In Munnar have three rivers are joining together (Madurapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala) Munnar was the summer resort in of the Government official during t he period of British rule in India. Munnar is peaceful hill station its velvet lawns, exotic flora and fauna, this is very real experience of nature in Munnar you get breathing of fresh, cool mountain air. You can see the beauty of 30 Tea plantations in around the Munnar, The Munnar hills are covered by tea plants, Munnar located 1600 meter from sea level, Anamudi is an ideal spot for trekking. After lunch visit at Rajmalai wild life sanctuary – India’s first sanctuary where found ibex’s, followed by visit at Kannan Devan Hills- from this hill you can have a panoramic view of the lake of Munnar and Munnar Tea Estates. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 : Mannar – Periyar (110 kms 3 hrs )
After breakfast drive to Periyar is called Thekkady – Periyar is famous for the Periyar wildlife Sanctuary and Tiger Reserve in Thekkady which is situated high in the range of the Western Ghat . On arrival transfer to hotel . After relaxation visit Periyar wildlife Sanctuary enjoy Safari Cruise in Periyar Game Sanctuary - The Periyar lake enabling you to spot elephants, wild Boar and Sambar Deer by the water’s edge. The best activities to enjoy the wildlife Sancturary, the periyar wildlife is one the 16 project Tiger reserve in India. In evening special visit to the spice Garden to watch different varieties of spice plantation such as pepper, Clove, Vanilla, Ginger, Tea, Cardamom and Cinnamon etc. Overnight in the hotel.
Day 14 : Periyar – Madurai (140 km 3 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Madurai. On arrival transfer to hotel. After relaxation visit great Meenakshi Temple- one of the largest temple complex in India built in 16-18th centuries. Meenakshi Temple dedicated to lord Shiva with ten towering temple around the temple. Later visit Palamuthirsolai Murugan Temple and Tiruparankundram Murugan Temple. After lunch visit Tirumal Nayak’s Palace – was built 17th century by King Thirumalai Nayak. In evening visit Meenakshi temple for special evening Aarti . Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 : Madurai - Trichy - Tanjore (160 kms 3 ½ hrs)
After breakfast drive to Tanjore en routes visit Trichy (Tiruchirappally) visit the Rock Fort Temple- one the largest temple and the most interesting temple in India, The collection of three temples, Manikka Vinayakar Temple at the foot of the hill, the Taayumaanavar Koyil shivastalam on the hill and The Uchhi Pillayar Koyil at the top of the hill. Later visit Siva Lingam and seven Gopurams another pilgrimage site. Continues drive to Tanjore "Rice bowl of Tamil Nadu" . On arrival transfer to hotel. After relax visit Brihadeshwara temple- was constructed more than thousand years ago by the King Rajarajan and is termed as the crowning glory of Chola temple architecture.This temple listed with World Heritage site in India. Later visit the Thanjavur Palace- Thanjavur is the royal city of the Cholas and Nayaks was constructed in 1550 and has vast corridors, large halls, shady courtyards and observation and arsenal towers. Built by the Nayaks in the mid-16th century. Visit Saraswati Mahal Library- one of the important oriental manuscripts collections in India, established in 1700 AD. Some paper manuscripts are in Indian and European Languages in this library. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 16 : Tanjore – Pondicherry (175 km 4 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Pondicherry, en route visiting south Indian Villages and lifestyle of Dravidian community. After visit continue to proceed to Pondicherry, on arrival transfer to hotel. Pondicherry is a union territory which is in the southern part of India, The capital of the French colonies in India since 17th century. Later visit Aurobindo Ashram, founded in 1920, the residence where the Sri Aurobindo and revered Mother Mirra Richard, known as Maa. Visit Ecole Francoise d’Extreme Orient, which is closed nearly 102 yrs old, the French institute dedicated to the Study of Asian Societies. The French catholic church, The church of our lady of Angles (1855), famous for an oil painting. later visit Museum and botanical garden. In evening visit some famous temples are Manakula Vinayagar Temple & Kamakshi Amman Temple. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 17 : Pondicherry- Mahabalipuram (96 kms 2 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram. On arrival transfer to hotel. After some relaxation visit ancient Pallava port which was built in 7th Century. There are many temples excavated in hill scarps of Mahablipuram, which are called Mandapas. One of such famous five-cave temple is the one at Trimurti. Visit Severn Pagoda style shore temples, ahishasurmardini cave, Varaha temples , Mandapa and mandapanms and some group of temples and monuments around them. The only beach temple which remains here is spectacular two spired shrine, its very unique due a house both god Lord Shiva and the Lord Vishnu in its sanctum sanctorum. Later return to hotel for overnight.
Day 18 : Mahabalipura – Kanchipuram – Chennai (130 km 3 hrs)
After breakfast drive to Kanchipuram (70 km ½ Hrs drive). Visit India’s seven sacred cities and temple town. There are many temples surrounded Kailasnatha, Ekambareshwara, Kamashiamma, Vaikuntaperumal and Sakiswara, you can do shopping of silk cloth and weavers home. Later continue drive to Chennai. On arrival transfer to hotel. Evening at leisure and own activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 19 : Chennai
After breakfast take sightseeing of Chennai city. Chennai is the gateway of south India touch with different phase of India – classic, Gentle, and Ancient.Chennai formerly known as Madaras and Its spread over 51 miles. Later take a sightseeing of Chennai visit The St. George Fort, built in 1653 inside the fort is the Museum which is decorated with cannons of Tipu sultan and also you can visit St. Mary’s Church which is the oldest English Church in India. Another attraction of Temple in Chennai Kapaleeswara Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and Parhsarthy Temple dedicated to Lord Krishan. In evening visit flower and fruits market or Marina Beach which is second largest beach in the world. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 20 : Chennai – Goa (By Air)
After morning breakfast drive to airport to board the scheduled flight to Goa. On arrival our company representative meet you and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day free for beach activities and relaxation. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 21 : Goa
After breakfast day is free to explore the beach of Goa, visiting the famous beaches of Goa, Anjuan Beach, Colva Beach and Calangute beach. And return to hotel for overnight.
Day 22 : Goa – Mumbai – Home Town
After breakfast drive to airport to board the scheduled flight to Mumbai. On arrival transfer to International airport to board the scheduled flight to home town. Tour concludes with happy memories.
